Confirming industry and collector-based speculation that has been going on for the last few months, UD officially announced the new Upper Deck Pro-Shots line at Toy Fair in NYC this week. Sculpted by industry leader Gentle Giant Studios and utilizing exclusive 3D scanning of both Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods, the line promises to be the long awaited realistic 6-inch scale configuration collectors have been clamoring for. Pro-Shots will feature top memorable moments from both Jordan and Woods' career.

The first wave of Jordan figures consists of two moments--his '98 Finals Winning Last Shot vs. Utah and his rookie dunk contest appearance from '85 in the classic back to the basic Cradle Dunk pose. Tiger's first wave of figures features his '97 Masters victory fist pump and his '00 PGA Championship "point at the cup" putt in a memorable playoff vs. Bob May. Future waves of figures will feature additional career defining moments over the course of Jordan and Woods� illustrious careers.

The Pro-Shots line will be released in two product configurations. Beginning in October, Toys "R" Us will carry an exclusive true-to-the moment version with matching UD trading card featured in collector box packaging. Shortly following, a hobby and specialty store variant edition will also be released featuring the same sculpts but in alternate paint schemes in a clamshell packaged version.
