McFarlane Swaps Anquan Boldin for Matt Leinart 2 in Upcoming Collector Club Release

Repaint of NFL 11 Surprise Figure Replaces Leinart in 2008 Collector Club Release; Leinart Pushed Back to Later in 2008

Following the season-ending shoulder injury to Arizona Cardinals quarterback Matt Leinart, McFarlane Toys has changed their Exclusive lineup for 2008. The Matt Leinart exclusive was originally scheduled for release in January 2008, and will be shifted later in the year, to coincide with Leinart's return and the kickoff to the 2008 football season.

In his place, they will release an Anquan Boldin Exclusive figure. Boldin was previously available only as a surprise figure in 2005's NFL 12 lineup. The new Boldin figure will be repainted into the Cardinals' home red uniform, and issued in McFarlane's new modular packaging. Boldin will be available at both McFarlane stores and through spawn.com in limited quantities in mid-to-late January 2008.
